Portbase-3010M 1-port Device Server with Internal Modem

Portbase-3010M is a 1-port Serial to Ethernet Device Server with an internal modem for PPP server and client. When a network failure has occurs, serial device can still be managed over PSTN connection. Also, RAS server feature enables both directly and network-connected devices to be accessed via Portbase-3010M.

Serial, LAN, & PSTN

Portbase-3010M is a gateway device, integrating functions of both a device server which converts legacy socket packets and serial data to the LAN-based communication data, and an internal modem, which allows connection to the network and serial device through a phone line. It operates both as a device server and a RAS server, meanwhile providing powerful features of Portview and COM Port Redirector.

Portbase-3010M has a high speed serial port and a 10/100Mbps LAN port. With an internal modem, it also includes a port for a modem connection and a telephone connection. A SystemBase device server Portbase can be integrated in the environment to extend serial device connections up to 32, providing more flexibility and scalability.
