The TCP/IP server board allows manufacturers and system integrators connect their different devices such as home appliances and industrial control systems directly to the Ethernet network, and remotely monitor & control them with standard TCP-IP protocols.

The FMod-TCP DB version is the up-to-date one and allows a fast integration in final product during production. A development kit and software libraries are available for fast conception process.

Connections available on boards on the DEVICE side are:

10 bits A/D inputs 5 1

From the COMMUNICATION side, an Ethernet bus allows the use of the following protocols: ICMP (ping), UDP, TCP and HTTP in order to send the data to the dedicated application layer.

The following figure explains how this product can be used:

 

A dedicated Win32 software and a sample Java Applet (with source code) are available.

A development kit is available and contains the following items:

  • FMod-TCP DB board
  • A mother board will all signals available on a SIL connector, a UART-RS232 transceiver, an I2C temp sensor and a potentiometer.
  • RJ45 cross-cable
  • 5V power supply
  • User manual
  • CD-ROM with a dedicated software and the default Java applet source code.
