Portbase-3010 is a device server that provides 1 high-speed serial port and two 10/100M LAN ports. Portbase-3010 not only works like a terminal server that uses a socket program but also offers more convenient function of COM port redirection, which allows you to use a serial communication program without a socket program. It could effectively be applied to connect to POS-related devices or various serial devices inside a factory, monitoring/control/data collection of a remote serial device through a web browser, control of other security/medical instruments, building automation, machine control, process monitoring/control, etc.
