Multi-4/USB Series enables the connection of up to 4 asynchronous serial devices such as terminals, modems, printers, and scanners to make a PC an economical but a powerful multi-user and multi-device system. TXD and RXD LEDs are included in the product for the displays of data transmission. Transmission speed rises up to 921.6Kbps per port, with the help of USB 2.0 specifications. Another remarkable feature is in its specialized design which converts the RI pin (pin #9) of DB-9 connector into a power of external power adapter, providing power to the external devices as needed. This feature can be fully exploited when connecting small peripherals such as cash registers, barcode readers, or receipt printers to systems like PC POS.
