Multi-2/USB Series enables the connection of 2 asynchronous serial devices such as terminals, modems, printers, and scanners to make a PC an economical but a powerful multi-user and multi-device system. TXD and RXD LEDs are included for the displays of data transmission. Transmission speed rises up to 921.6Kbps per port, with the help of USB 1.1 specifications.

RS422/485 Interface Support

Multi-2/USB Series is composed of RS422 and RS485 (Combo) interface models. Serial communication speed of up to 921.6Kbps is supported to guarantee high performance. Auto-toggling on-chip controlled signal for RS422/485 provides precise line drivers control of input/output signals and realizes a stable communication. All RS232/422/485 transceivers are equipped with 15KVESD protection, providing electrical shock protection for the product.
