Novel
EPIC Sensors for non-contact ECG, movement, etc.
|
|
We have just been appointed North
American distributor for Plessey
Semiconductor's innovative portfolio of semiconductor
products which include the award-winning (EDN
Hot100 Product) EPIC electric field sensor. This
unique device can sense small changes in electric fields, such as ECG
or EEG signals, without requiring messy gel electrodes. This has
dramatic implications for the medical, sports medicine, and security
industries - e.g. non-critical patient monitoring, emergency response
diagnostics, sports and health products, electric field and potential
sensing, switching and gaming applications - even motion sensing and
security, since it can even detect people movement through a wall!

Scope Prices
Lowered!
|
|
Saelig has partnered with Owon and Rigol to
lower the cost of their entry-level scopes, making demand for them very
high! Rigol's 100MHz DS1102E
has been reduced from $795 to $399, while Owon's 100MHz SDS7102T has
been slashed from $599 to $429. The Owon 60MHz SDS6062T has
dropped from $399 to $329. Rigol's offerings provide superior PC
control (great for Test Departments) while Owon's oscilloscopes have
large 8" screens, separate channel controls, 10Mpt record length,
small benchtop footprints, and external display connectors - ideal
for teaching situations. More ...

New MSO-28 Mixed Signal PicoScope
|
|
The MSO-28 is a new, USB-powered,
entry-level mixed-signal 60MHz oscilloscope adapter for PCs. This
lightweight, economical scope adapter provides a two-channel oscilloscope
combined with a synchronous 8-channel logic analyzer, sampling at
200MSa/s (5ns), all in one compact, extremely portable USB instrument.
Simultaneously-clocked analog waveforms and digital data are displayed in
phase on the same screen. MSO-28's advanced triggering options
include: oscilloscope (analog) trigger: rising/falling edge and pulse
width; Logic Analyzer trigger: 8 bit trigger word; SPI trigger (32 bit
trigger word); I2C trigger (32 bit trigger word) or any of the logic
lines. The 200MSa/s sample rate and 60MHz bandwidth allows capturing a
60MHz signal in single shot mode, or even faster repetitive signals, with
an effective repetitive sampling rate of 1GSa/s. The FFT Spectrum
Analyzer shows frequency spectrum information up to 100MHz for analog
input signals, and has controls for FFT window, FFT type, and FFT
resolution. More...

iPad™- based WiFi Spectrum Analyzer
|
|
WiPry-Combo is
the world's first dynamic power meter and spectrum analyzer accessory for
the iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone - offering a modern touch interface not
available on PC-based instruments. WiPry-Combo
turns an iOS device into an ultraportable spectrum analyzer and dynamic
power meter. WiPry-Combo
brings RF power measurements to a graphical interface to show RF
waveforms like an oscilloscope - instead of showing voltage, RF amplitude
is displayed on an iOS portable device. Actual power output can be
triggered, captured, and recorded for protocol verification or for
troubleshooting wireless devices. More...

New Economical All-in-one Ethernet Module
|
The WIZ820io is a new plug-in network
module that offloads Internet tasks to a mini-board that includes
WIZnet's popular W5200 IC (TCP/IP hardwired chip + PHY), a mag-jack (RJ45
with transformer) and other peripheral logic. Housed in a very small form
factor (23mm x 25mm) with two rows of 0.1"-spaced pins, the WIZ820io can be
used as a ready-made component for Internet-enabling a product or board,
and is an ideal solution for users who want to develop networked systems
rapidly. WIZ820io
contains WIZnet's hardwired W5200 Ethernet stack IC, which supports 8
independent sockets simultaneously, and features a high-speed SPI
interface, power-down mode, and Wake-On-LAN function. More...

Active RF Antennas
|
|
HyperLOG® 6080X is
a range of active RF Test Antennas up to 8GHz with very high gain (45dBi)
compatible with any spectrum analyzer or oscilloscope. Powered by battery
or external power supply, they can be used in lab situations on for
open-field measurements. HyperLOG
X LogPer antenna series can be used to locate extremely
weak signals, thanks to the integrated preamplifier. The antenna offers
excellent directional characteristics which can be optimized using the
optional Laser and Compass. More...

Digital Microscope With Polarizer
|
|
We have a new version of our very
popular handheld 2-Megapixel color digital microscope that features a
built-in adjustable polarizer
for removing glare and reflections on highly reflective materials such as
metals or solder joints, or from semi-transparent materials like jewelry,
glass, and plastic. The MV200UM-PL
is supplied with powerful Miviewcap software with a host of useful
functions: image measure and calibration, snapshot, video image taking,
etc. MiView
MV200UM-PL is easy to use and is much more versatile than

Powerful Audio
Signal Processor
|
|
Signal Wizard 3.0
is a very powerful audio signal processor that features multichannel
synchronous processing. It can mix, amplify, filter, delay and adjust the
phase of individual input signals selected by using the included
intuitive PC software. Signal
Wizard 3.0 features a 24-bit, 96 kHz codec with six
analog input and eight analog output channels, and an internal DSP
processing speed of 0.6 GMACs. Signal
Wizard 3.0 also incorporates two digital audio (S/PDIF)
inputs and outputs. Like its two channel equivalent Signal Wizard 2.5,
the software requires no knowledge of mathematics or programming. More...

Did you know?
|

......
that one of our most popular products is a humble USB-I/O board that is
used in quantity by major manufacturers all over the world?
Devasys' USB-I2CI/O boards give easy access to I2C peripherals and
is ideal for integrating into equipment (e.g. manufacturing test set-ups)
with existing or planned application software. When you know that only
your own software will suit your needs and you must have a reliable
interface board, USB-I2CIO provides simple long-life hardware, a
simple API, and ROCK SOLID firmware, dll, and driver.... all for a very
reasonable price. Dependable, robust drivers is where most other
I2C boards fall down. All this, with custom support available
too! More...
