USB Digital Pattern Generators

 These high-speed digital pattern
generators also feature logic analyzer capabilities and a
bi-directional protocol (SPI/I²C) host adapter with either 16MB or 32MB
of internal memory. GP-241xx
devices offer high-speed programmable bidirectional interfaces that
allow the stimulation and analysis of digital electronic systems and
ICs, providing flexible and powerful access to electronic devices under
test. With an internal 16 or 32MB embedded memory buffer and 100
MHz operation on all 16 digital lines, GP-241xx devices provide powerful
general purpose and expandable PC-based tools that ideally complement
existing system debug equipment such as logic analyzers and high-speed

can be used as an arbitrary digital pattern generator, logic analyzer
or serial protocol master / analyzer, with 16 address/data lines and 6

Bluetooth Barcode Scanner

 We found this tiny high performance,
low-cost handheld 2.4GHz Class I Bluetooth barcode scanner because we
needed one for internal use, checking barcodes remotely on packages and
outputting the information wirelessly as if typed on a PC keyboard
at a distance. The CM-500W3's
performance is remarkable - it even scans fine pitch barcodes through
translucent static bags! CM-500W3
uses a linear CCD image sensor with a built-in 630nm red LED illumination
source and reads linear barcodes at 100 scan/sec at a distance of 2"
- 10". The internal non-volatile memory can store up to 500

SD Bus Protocol Tracer
|
 The SDDL1000 SD Bus Protocol
Tracer allows design engineers working with SD and SDIO technology
to capture, decode and analyze bus states, command and response tokens,
and to measure SD bus performance. SDDL1000 provides time-saving
features such as automatic timing violation analysis and unlimited buffer
size with continuous sampling, shortening the time needed to identify and
resolve bus errors. The SDDL1000
also provides sufficient debug information in real time without the need
to set complex trigger events. SD bus traffic prior to the error points
is clearly displayed to help quickly identify problems. Debug output is
displayed in a straightforward but detailed format, providing extensive
information even for users less familiar with SD/SDIO/MMC

Boards Easy-use Economical PoE Boards
|
 Saelig recently introduced a
unique range of economical PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) boards that allow
remote device operation and control without the need for a local power
source. The TEK-PoE
2 DC-12W is a PoE power source which delivers regulated
DC power for Ethernet-connection of devices that are not PoE-ready.
TEK-PoE 2 DC-12W delivers regulated DC output at a user-selected level of
5V, 9V, 12V or 24V, and passing a 10/100base-T Ethernet connection
through to the output jack. PoE-2-RS232-12W
is a PoE serial adapter/converter that provides Ethernet-to-serial data
conversion and high efficiency local power from an Ethernet cable when
sourced by 802.3af-compliant Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE). This unique
serial-to-Ethernet cable adapter can quickly and easily be connected to
any device with a serial port connection, making it immediately
web-enabled. Functioning as a single serial port server, PoE-2-RS232-12W
converts a serial port to an Ethernet port, removing the length limitations
imposed by RS232 communication cables. PoE-2-Input-12W is a digital
monitor/dc-dc converter that provides remote Ethernet monitoring for up
to 16 digital Inputs with local power derived from a PoE cable. This
unique networked device monitor can quickly and easily web-enable any 5V
digital device (status, time, temperature, alarm, etc.). PoE-2-Relay-8-12W
is a relay output and local dc-dc converter that offers remote Ethernet
switching control of up to 30 Amps per device on 8 different relay

Universal USB Controller with 50 I/O Pins
|
 IO-Warrior56
is a universal USB Controller module that allows easy access to input or
output functions via a USB bus. Featuring 50 generic I/O lines, IO-Warrior56 is
also an I2C/SPI master, allowing interface with a wide range of available
ICs. IO-Warrior56
offers a simple access to USB since it has been designed as a generic HID
device - the protocol is included in the IO-Warrior56
chip. Only a few simple lines of code are needed to access the I/O
pins. If you need to connect simple devices to a computer, like relays,
switches, keypad, or a small display, IO-Warrior56 is a simple
solution. Working with USB used to mean that you had to develop
specific code for a USB-enabled microcontroller, developing a unique
driver with lots of documentation and using expensive development
systems. Now driving LCDs, LEDs, or keypads from USB is easy! IO-Warrior56
also supports a range of industrial standard interfaces such as I2C and
SPI to simplify interfacing to chips, modules, or displays. More...

Low
Voltage Crystal Oscillators New Low Voltage Crystal Oscillators
|
 We recently introduced four new
ranges of low voltage crystal oscillators in miniature surface mount
packages. The new XO22, XO32, XO53 and XO91 series offer supply voltages
from 5V down to 1.0V, enabling current consumption as low as 2.0mA and
making the oscillators ideal for use in battery-powered
applications. XO22 series ultra-miniature oscillators are packaged
in a low-profile 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.9mm surface mount package and offer
frequency range from 0.5 to 75MHz. XO32 devices are housed in a 3.2 x 2.5
x 0.95mm SMD package with frequency range from 0.5 to 54MHz. XO53 series
clock oscillators are 5 x 3.2mm surface mount devices offering 1 to
125MHz and XO91 series miniature clock oscillators are housed in 7 x 5 x
1.4mm hermetically sealed packages offering 312.5kHz up to 160MHz.
All four ranges are available with supply voltage options of 1.0, 1.2,
1.8, 2.5, 3.3 or 5.0V and all offer HCMOS/LSTTL output logic. Tristate
(enable/disable) function is standard on all ranges. Fully RoHS
compliant, these new low voltage oscillators are supplied on standard EIA
tape and reel and are capable of withstanding reflow soldering conditions
of 260°C for 10s. More...

- entry-level scope/datalogger I/O board
|
|
 Here's a combination
scope/data-logger/IO board that offers an amazing collection of 15 I/O
channels in a compact, low-cost device designed for hobbyists, teachers
and technicians. Software provided with the unit provides an easy-to-use
100kHz-bandwidth oscilloscope and datalogger, with extra input and output
capabilities straight out of the box. Built into USB DrDAQ are a
microphone, light sensor, RGB LED, oscilloscope and resistance inputs, 4
digital I/O ports, 3 sensor ports, a pH/redox sensor input and a signal
generator output. The unit is powered from the USB port so there is no
need for an external power supply. USB DrDAQ samples at 1MSa/s and can
be used as a single-channel 8-bit 100kHz oscilloscope or spectrum
analyzer with the ability to measure voltages up to ±10 volts. USB DrDAQ's
10-bit D/A output features a 10-bit signal generator - a standard
function generator, but also an arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) too,
so customized waveforms can be created. An RGB LED can be used to display
any color for a variety of indicator purposes. Two of the I/O ports can
be used as pulse counting inputs, or PWM (pulse-width modulation)
outputs. The sensor ports can be used with a range of temperature,
humidity and oxygen sensors, or with custom sensors built by the

APSIN20G 10 MHz to 20 GHz RF signal
generator

 The APSIN20G is a new low-noise, ultra-fast-switching
microwave signal generator covering a frequency range from 10 MHz up to
20 GHz. It provides micro-Hz frequency resolution, a wide and
accurately-flat output power range to 30 dBm, and very low spurious
levels. Comprehensive AM, low-distortion, wideband DCFM, and high speed
pulse modulation allows for testing a wide range of receivers. APSIN20G's
powerful trigger and sweeping modes can be controlled via standard
interfaces such as USB-TMC, LAN, and GPIB, and can operate from an
optional internal rechargeable battery. Advanced frequency
synthesis with a fractional-N divider makes for low SSB phase noise and
micro-Hz frequency resolution. The APSIN20G
includes AM, DC-coupled wideband-FM, PM, FSK and PSK, frequency chirp,
and pulse modulation as standard, and all modulation modes can be
combined. This allows for the generation of complex modulation signals
for today's advanced communication and location systems. The combination
of pulse modulation and FM, for instance, can simulate Doppler effects or
chirp signals; simultaneous AM and pulse modulation replicates pulse
radar applications with rotating antenna; FM/AM combinations can be used
to check fading effects of FM receivers. More...
