Announcing
two new, budget-priced, dual-channel
Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generators, the SDG1005 (5MHz
- $399) and SDG1050
(50MHz - $599) which feature DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) technology,
providing stable, high-precision, low distortion signals. In
addition to sinewaves, they also provide square waves with fast rising
and falling edges, pulse and ramp waveforms, white noise, and arbitrary
waveforms. The SDG Series has a clear, simple front panel,
with a user-friendly layout and built-in help menu to simplify
operation and adjustment. Also featured is built-in AM, FM, PM, PWM,
and FSK modulation, without requiring an external modulating source,
and both units can also function as a 200MHz Frequency Counter.
USB Device/Host I/O allows for storage of waveforms and setups. More...

Tabor's
new Wave Standard
WS8351/2 advanced arbitrary function generators offer
high performance single/dual channel arbitrary waveform, function, and
pulse signals at up to 350MHz. Designed to fulfill the growing needs of
today's design and test engineers, these new signal sources boast a 2GS/s
clock with a 512k memory and up to 4Vpp output into 50 ohms. This allows
the creation of a wide variety of complex waveforms at very high speeds.
In addition to its function and arbitrary capabilities, these ultra-fast WS models can
generate high-precision pulses with extensive pattern composition,
utilizing pulse/pattern composer application software.
PulseComposer¢â includes special modes such as: programmable transition
times, multi-level patterns, arbitrary bit design and PAM(n), utilizing
either NRZ or RZ modes with data rates reaching as high as
350MBit/s. More...
