Economical 2.1GHz/3.2GHz RF Signal Generators

Touch, PC, or web control makes these versatile RF signal sources a valuable addition to an engineer's test bench

Siglent SSG3000X RF Signal Generators have a frequency range of 9kHz to 2.1GHz or 3.2GHz. They provide all of the common signal generation needs such as sweep control and analog modulations (AM, FM, PM) as well as pulse modulation and pulse train generation (option). Additionally, the IQE models can be used with a baseband generator such as the Siglent SDG6000X to generate IQ modulated signals.  With a 0.01Hz frequency setting resolution, the signal output can be adjusted from -110dBm to +13dBm with phase noise as low as -110dBc/Hz @ 1GHz.

Radiated Power Measurements Without An Anechoic Chamber

Compact RF measurement system is optimized for quickly measuring device radiation patterns in a lab environment.

The compact MegiQ RMS-0640/0660 Radiation Measurement Systems are turnkey setups that can measure antenna and equipment radiation patterns
and Total Radiated Power (TRP) of an RF device from 600MHz to 4/6GHz.  The RMS-06x0 system consists of a measurement antenna, a measurement receiver with optional signal generator, a motorized turntable, and application software for system control and calculations.  This system removes the need for an expensive anechoic chamber for most applications.  Moderate lab space is all that is needed in order to obtain accurate 3-axis radiation patterns and TRP calculations.  Extensive testing and comparison with anechoic test lab measurements has shown that the measurement accuracy of the RMS-06x0 approximates very well to anechoic measurements.

Included in the new T3 range are 100-300MHz oscilloscopes, 5-120MHz signal generators,  195W power supplies, 4½, 5½,  6½ digital multimeters, and 9kHz - 2.1 / 3.2GHz spectrum analyzer.

Improved Isolated High Voltage 4-Ch 200MHz Oscilloscope

The CS448 is a unique isolated four-channel 200MHz 14-bit oscilloscope designed to measure high voltage, fast slew-rate signals such as those in a full or three-phase power electronic switching bridge. With new 300MHz 200x probes it can now handle 1600V signals to cope with the latest SiC MOSFETs.

The Cleverscope CS448 is a unique isolated high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) four-channel 200MHz 14-bit oscilloscope. The CS448 has been designed to measure high voltages - now up to 1600V - for fast slew-rate signals such as those in a full or three-phase power electronics switching bridge. Examples of challenging measurement tasks the CS448 can handle easily are: voltage and charge of gate drives, loss and parasitic stress in power switching, power and spectrum of output signals for EMC compliance, control system signals for gain/phase and stability, etc.  The CS448 includes an isolated 65MHz signal generator to provide stimulus signals for frequency response analysis, and eight isolated 100Mb/s logic inputs to simultaneously measure control signals. Two CS448's can be connected to make an eight channel isolated oscilloscope with coherent sampling.

Professional Multimeter With Built-in Infrared Camera

Compact, lightweight DMM tool incorporates infrared camera for accurate thermal fault investigations.

The HT Mercury Digital Multimeter is a true RMS DMM capable of
measuring AC/DC voltage up to 1000V, AC/DCcurrent up to 10A as well as resistance, continuity test, diode test, frequency, capacitance and temperature with K-type probe.  The built-in infrared camera with 80x80 pixel resolution can obtain simultaneous readings of thermal as well as electrical values for an item under test.  The thermal camera helps to simply and quickly detect hot spots caused by electrical problems, shorts, or malfunctions. The infrared sensor can detect a temperature range from -20°C to 260°C with 0.1°C sensitivity.  Other major functions in the HT Mercury include an "AC+DC" mode to accommodate DC components on AC signals, and a variety of current measurement ranges with standard and flexible transducer clamps. The F3000U 30/300/3000A clamp is provided with HT Mercury.

USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Isolator For Electrical Isolation of USB Ports

USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Isolator eliminating ground loops and ground potential differences and is ideal for measurement, industrial, automotive and audio technology applications.

The ALLDAQ ADQ-USB 3.0-ISO series of USB 3.0 isolators, which support the full USB 3.0 SuperSpeed data rate of 5Gbit/s. This allows USB 3.0 SuperSpeed devices to be electrically isolated from a host PC or other peripherals at full performance. The re-clocking design guarantees a stable USB connection at all speeds. The ADQ-USB isolators can be used for the electrical isolation of USB measurement instruments to avoid ground loops to solve problems in industrial and automotive applications as well as in professional sound studios and event and show equipment. The ADQ-USB 3.0-ISO isolators automatically detect SuperSpeed (5Gbit/s), High-Speed (480Mbit/s), Full-Speed (12Mbit/s) or Low-Speed (1.5 Mbit/s) connections. The model ADQ-USB 3.0-ISO-PS  includes a +5 V power adapter with a lockable 5.5mm barrel connector (bayonet lock) for a safety.  For industrial and automotive applications, the ADQ-USB 3.0-ISO-W version can accept 10 to 36 VDC from an external power source via a 2-pin lockable Phoenix-type connector to power devices with up to 900 mA. The external power input is protected against reverse polarity and short-circuits.

Innovative IKALOGIC SP2 Logic Analyzers

Ultra-compact, portable debug tool offers large databuffer, built-in bus receivers for serial decoding.

The IKALOGIC SP2 Series of compact 9-channel 200MHz Logic Analyzers, which offer in-depth analysis of logic signals and protocol decoding with 200MHz (5ns) timing resolution.  The nine channel design allows 8-bit parallel data to be captured along with a clock or strobe signal at the maximum sampling rate without any trade-off between the number of active channels and the sampling rate. The embedded 2Gb memory buffers the captured signals before sending to the attached PC.  Powerful trigger options include: edge trigger, logic change on one or various channels, trigger on timed logic signals sequence, trigger on protocol word or event (e.g. serial word or I2C address acknowledge), external trigger input, etc. The SP2 series makes it easy to analyze CMOS logic signals and industrial buses. The series consists of two devices: the SP209 is the standard edition and the SP209i is an industrial version with specialized receivers for most common industrial busses like RS485, RS232 or CAN.  The Trigger-in and Trigger-out SMA connectors allow users to synchronize the SP209 to other lab equipment, building highly sophisticated test setups.  The Spartan 6 FPGA design provides the processing power required and can easily be firmware-updated.
