Dear Colleague,

We're devoting this newsletter entirely to a groundbreaking new oscilloscope from Siglent. Sampling at 5GSa/s with a standard record length of 250Mpts/channel, this series features Siglent's first 1GHz oscilloscope at the remarkable price of under $6,000.
Enjoy!

Siglent SDS5000X Series Oscilloscope

The new high performance, touchscreen Siglent SDS5000X series of digital storage oscilloscopes come in 2 or 4 channel versions with bandwidths of 350MHz, 500MHz, and 1GHz - Siglent's highest yet. With a maximum sample rate of 5GSa/s, these premium scopes have 250Mpts of memory to allow for deep investigation of glitches and infrequent events, and an option of 16 digital channels for true mixed signal analysis. With a maximum waveform capture rate of up to 480,000wfm/s, the SDS5000X's large 10.1'' capacitive touch screen makes the operational use much faster.

SDS5000X
instruments are provided with an impressive array of measurement and math capabilities as well as extensive serial decoding of protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and LIN.   Options for other protocols such as CAN FD, FlexRay, I2S and MIL-STD-1553B are also available.  An optional 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator can produce a wide range of test signals too. For digital debug capabilities, the MSO option adds 16 digital channels with a maximum waveform capture rate up to 1.25GSa/s and a record length up to 62.5Mpts.
