IPP144-40-G is a new industrial thermal printer for PCs, PLCs, DPMs, etc.
which allows graphics or bar codes to be printed along with text in various
languages or custom characters. Housed in a DIN sized metal case, this
intelligent printer can be supplied with a paper re-roll mechanism which
automatically rewinds paper onto a second roll. An IP64 cover is available to
provide dust and moisture protection for the combination. The DIN-standard
housing has a front bezel of 5.7” x 2.9” and the unit weighs a mere 3 oz.
Offering ultra high-speed printing with a long life, fixed head, thermal
printing mechanism, IPP144-40-G comes with RS232, RS485 , Profibus or USB
options, and can print 8, 16, 24 or 48 characters per line. An enhanced version
IPP144-40-GE has a real-time clock and memory for pre-programmed texts,
which can be triggered by the serial interface. It also has a second serial
interface which must be specified when ordering. “Document proof” paper for
IPP144-40-G has a 10 year storage life, and the unit can easily connect to
Siemens PLCs with WindowsCE. Power supply can be either 12VDC, 24VDC or
85-265VAC. Configuration of the printer is by easy-to-use two front keys.
