Pittsford, NY. Ki-8818 is a new immersible temperature data logger which can collect up to 8000 sample readings for liquids or packages in transit or process measurements. Ki-8818 is a standalone logger that can be programmed to log ambient temperature every 1 second to every 2 hours, placed in a package or vessel, retrieved, placed on the serial interface and data can be uploaded and data displayed on a PC.
Logging temperature range for Ki-8818 is -40degC to +85degC. The device is easily programmed from a PC with included software using an RS232 cable or USB cable. Over-temperature and under temperature alarms can be set with this software, which will cause a red LED to light if thresholds are exceeded. A green LED indicates that the unit is indeed recording satisfactorily. So at the end of its journey, the unit can indicate if safe conditions were maintained and that transit time has not been exceeded.
