Economical 16-channel Logic Analyzer
- Comes With
Six Free Serial
Protocol Decoders
Pittsford, NY: ByteMaster LAD-16128U
is a new, economical PC-based 16-channel logic analyzer which includes
six useful serial protocol
decoders: I2C, UART, SPI, CAN BUS, 7-Segment LED and 1-Wire. It
also features a unique, patented waveform compression technology to increase the
effective memory capacity far beyond the physical 4 Mbits. All 16 channels of
the LAD-16128U can achieve a compression rate up to 255× depending on the
data content, allowing large sample data storage at an affordable price. With
100Hz to 200MHz internal sampling frequency, USB-powered LAD-16128U uses
USB2.0's full 480Mbps speed, but is also backward-compatible to USB 1.1's 12Mbps
connection. Offering exceptional value and performance, the LAD-16128U
comes with features that make it a valuable debug tool for embedded designs,
with an effective storage capacity of 255 Mbits per channel.
A "Start" button on the Logic Analyzer hardware unit allows instant capture of
samples "on the fly". Lightweight and self-contained, the LAD-16128U
comes with software which offers an intuitive, easy-to-use environment.
LAD-16128U has no need for external power supplies, which makes this
portable logic analyzer especially suited for service kits and field work.
LAD-16128U has the capability of capturing 5ns glitches, and captured data
can be printed or written to a TXT or CSV file for processing. Analysis can be
by Timing, State, Single-processor, Bus, or Real-time instruction trace.
LAD-16128U offers flexible signal trigger options, such as rising edge,
falling edge, either edge, high and low, selectable trigger position between
100% pre-trigger and 100% post trigger, Edge and Pattern, etc. for all 16
channels.
Available now, complete with probes, cables, and software CD-ROM. LAD-16128U is available from Saelig Company Inc.
