HERCULES Medical Monitor™ series displays are high performance medical
TFT monitors, featuring a fanless, custom-designed aluminum housing
which provides completely-sealed IP65 protection. This water-tight construction
means the display can be disinfected and washed down – so it is ideal for
operating theaters, recovery rooms, radiology, air lock areas, etc.
Through a VGA connector, Hercules Medical Monitors™ can be connected to
either a standard PC or the Hercules Medical PC. Optionally, they can be used in
dual-display mode, extending performance and potential applications. The front
glass is anti-reflection coated, and image zoom and shrink capability is
provided independently for horizontal and vertical scales. Touch-panel heating
is also available.
These analog SXGA displays are available in B/W or color in a range of display sizes from 15” to 21” and they accept composite, S-video or digital inputs. RealColor technology allows color filtering in YUV space, with proprietary flesh-tone adjustment. Backlighting is adjustable with PWM intensity control, and there is an internal audio amplifier option.
Hercules Medical Monitors™ are EN60601-1 and EN60601-1-2 certified, and
can be configured to a wide range of individual applications. On-screen
touch-controls permit monitor adjustments for input source, brightness,
contrast, etc. These features make the a.c.- or d.c.-powered Hercules Medical
Monitors™ the display of choice for all aspects of medical technology.
