Pittsford, NY. HERCULES Mobil Medical™ series is a new range of portable, battery-powered, high performance modular medical PCs, distinguished by a completely sealed, custom aluminum housing (IP65). These IPCs can be disinfected and washed, and work just as easily in operating rooms, air-lock areas and open spaces as in patient bedside applications. Designed specifically for medical and emergency service applications such as ambulances or medical helicopters, HERCULES Mobil Medical™’s fanless operation makes it ideal in noise-sensitive environments too, like patients’ rooms. HERCULES Mobil Medical™ series PCs have 10.4” touch screens for data input, which work well even with gloved hands. Keyboard or mouse input is also possible.
HERCULES Mobil Medical™
is certified to European EN60601-1 and EN60601-1-2 standards and can easily be
configured to meet the custom needs. The internal Pentium M 1.1GHz processor
makes it almost as powerful as a Pentium 4, size of RAM and up to 80GB hard
drive and optional bootable flash disk (chipDISK, Sandisk). Standard
specifications include USB, 10/100 MBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.11b Wireless Lan -
11Mbps), one serial interface, PS/2 connectors for keyboard and mouse, two free
PCMCIA slots and connectors for external floppy and CD/DVD drive, with MS-WIN
XP, MS-Windows NT 4.0, MS-Windows 2000, Novell Netware, LINUX OS support. An
optional Docking-Station is available.
