Pittsford, NY, USA: Saelig Company, Inc. has introduced PoUSBiso, a USB1.1 isolator for removing ground loops and preventing damage to USB-connected devices. Almost any USB full speed (12MHz) device can be isolated from a computer with PoUSBiso. Ideal for CNC motion devices, microcontroller programmers/debuggers, and many other PC-connected USB devices.
Compatible with all operational systems including (but not limited to) Windows, Linux, Mac. PoUSBiso provides 1000V isolation and can supply 5V @ 400mA. For greater than 400 mA, external power can be used. A true hardware solution, no drivers are needed, PoUSBiso is a simple “plug and play” device.
