Simple Logic Simulation and Hardware Control from your PC – no programming knowledge required!

Pittsford, New York. Digital-ProfiLab™ combines features like circuit, logic and front-panel simulation, and hardware control in one powerful tool for measurement and control applications. Incoming signals from external control or measurement equipment can be processed and displayed. A circuit editor is used to enter your application without any programming knowledge required. Projects are controlled from a user-editable “front panel”. A vast number of components is available from the well-organized library, making it easy to create a measurement or control application within minutes. Even logic simulation is featured. Use Digital-ProfiLab™ for quick experiments with counters, gates, registers, etc.

Use Digital-ProfiLab™ to control machines, circuit board, professional equipment - even model railways - or simply use it to learn about or demonstrate the basics of logic control basics. This makes it a valuable tool for hobbyists, professionals and educators.

Digital-ProfiLab™ communicates with digital I/O-cards, LPT-Port, COM-Port, USB and external modules. Draw a circuit diagram with logic-components like gates, counters, registers, flip-flops, etc. or connect external hardware to your interface. Interact with the circuit via a front panel with switches, LEDs, etc. on it. Digital-ProfiLab™ simulates the circuit and displays the logical states.

Create a control project just like drawing a wiring diagram - simply draw the needed components to your project screen and connect them. Then bring it to life with one click: your project will be activated in real-time. All incoming signals are displayed and all outgoing signals will be generated, just as defined in your project.

The front panel contains all elements to control your application during simulation, so it is like the “face” of your circuit. Control elements like switches, display, LED etc. may be arranged on the front panel. Control elements will appear automatically on the front panel, when you use them within your circuit.

Logic analyzer:  Displaying logical signals of up to eight channels is useful for demonstrating and debugging circuits. It shows timing and the control signals. The logic status of the test circuit can be displayed during simulation, so you can easily design, debug and demonstrate your application before you build it.
