New Schematic Software For
Engineers
– Quick and Easy Circuits!
Pittsford,
New York. sPlan™
is a new easy-to-use CAD package for quickly and neatly drawing electronic and
electric circuit diagrams. sPlan™ is equipped with lots of drawing and
editing functions for efficient circuit design. Features like automatic
component numbering and auto-generation of components lists are included.
sPlan™ produces high-quality printouts, which can be previewed to adjust
scale and position of the print. The parts library is well-organized and
extendable and contains lots of parts, components and symbols, all of which are
editable. Dragging and dropping symbols from the library to the diagram makes
circuit sketching as easy as can be, and symbols lock exactly to a grid. Even
beginners can create a perfect-looking circuit diagram in minutes!
Components list
Component data such as identifiers
and values are defined automatically as the circuit diagram is being edited. A
structured components list can be generated from the component data. The
components list is editable, so you can add ordering information, price,
supplier, etc. to the list. Options for the components list include sorting or
grouping identical values. A components list can cover one or all sheets of a
file.
Component
library
The component library contains all
you need to draw a clearly arranged circuit diagram, such as diodes, resistors,
switches, transistors, etc. Additionally, you can simply draw and add your own
symbols to the library if your favorite part is missing. You can even reorganize
the library completely and create symbols that exactly satisfy your needs. You
can change the width and the number of columns shown in the library. You can
also create new libraries, which can be located on remote drives (e.g. network),
so that many users can use this library.
Automatic numbering
Another important
feature of sPlan™ is the automatic numbering of components. You don´t
need to worry about numbering of single components. You can also renumber your
circuit diagram in geometrical manner. sPlan™
will check your circuit diagram by columns or by rows, and the
components will be numbered in this way.
