SWI
300
Pittsford, NY. SWI 300 is a remote data logger that, combined with the manufacturer’s dedicated web database (hosting is free for the first year), enables non-technical users to install, setup and operate a remote data logging and alarm system. SWI 300 can record not only temperature and voltage, but inputs from a wide variety of sensor types can be scaled to display data that is accessible from anywhere in the world.
SWI 300 can be quickly and easily set-up using an intuitive on-line wizard system. The user can adjust every aspect of the unit’s operation from measurement parameters and alarm levels through to logging rates, transfer settings, relay options and e-mail messages and SMS alerts when alarm levels are breached.
Data is logged and stored on SWI 300 and then sent periodically to the securely-hosted website, which can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. Only users with the correct security can view the logged data in a graph or text format on the web. In addition, all selected data can be exported to many popular spreadsheet applications for further analysis.
A wide range of recommended sensors can be used, including: temperature, pressure, current, humidity, Hall-effect, mass-airflow, O2, NO, load-cell, 4-20mA, etc. Pre-settable alarms can trigger audible, email and SMS text alerts. A control relay output can operate remote devices too, such as fans, heaters, pumps, alarms, etc. Set-up is easy using the on-line set-up wizard, and the units status is shown on the built-in LCD. The only connection you need is a phone line, so you can use it almost anywhere. Flash technology allows lifetime upgrades, and the unit cost includes free hosting for a year. SWI 300 can be powered by local line voltage, or even a 12V battery.
