New Economical 50MHz 16-bit
USB-connected
Digital Pattern Generator
Pittsford, NY: Wave Generator Xpress™ is a USB2.0-connected, high speed arbitrary digital waveform generator, housed in a compact 55x80x16mm anodized aluminum case. Wave Generator Xpress™ generates arbitrary digital signals of up to 16 bits and 100 MByte depth per run, at up to 50 MSample/s (11 MByte/s sustained). An additional 6 digital control lines can be used to handle I/O clock signals and generate repetitive sequences. ADWGs are typically used to send arbitrary stimuli to a board or chip prototype, or to produce arbitrary digital sample streams to systems under test.
Wave Generator Xpress™ is controlled by GUI-based
8PI Control Panel Software in its Arbitrary Digital Waveform Generator mode,
compatible with
Windows 2000, XP, and Vista.
With its multiple graphical and programming (TCL/tk and C/C++) interfaces, there
are many options for generating unique stimuli, from binary or text file to
whole algorithms programmed in TCl/tk, C/C++, Visual Basic and others.
Three user options are offered: GUI, TCL,
and C/C++ API.
You can also use C/C++
function calls to control Wave
Generator Xpress™
from
Visual
Basic,
Python, LabView®, and more.
Multiple formats for pattern entry (text file, binary text file, binary file) or
generation from script (TCL/tk) or programming (C/C++) interface.
Wave Generator Xpress™ is a convenient and robust personal pattern generator suited to a wide variety of electronic system test and debug tasks, such as ASIC, FPGA, DAC or digital board verification and characterization, automated stimulus generation, data source emulation, custom serial and parallel protocol exercising, etc.
Wave Generator Xpress™
will be shown at the upcoming ESC West Show in April 2008.
The Wave Generator
Xpress™
package contains:
Wave Generator Xpress™
unit, a 2 meter USB mini-B to USB-A
cable, and a set of 34 colored flying leads.
Made in Europe by
Byte
Paradigm,
Wave Generator Xpress™
is available
