    The Model 845-26-LO is CW (no modulation)

    Berkeley Nucleonics' Model 845-26-LO RF Microwave Signal Generator is a low-noise microwave signal generator capable of outputting complex frequencies from 100kHz - 26.5GHz with full modulation capabilities. The Model 845-26 RF Signal Generator offers a wide, flat output power range with high signal purity and fast frequency switching.  The advanced frequency synthesis design with a fractional-N divider provides low SSB phase noise and micro-Hz frequency resolution.

    The Model 845-26-LO Signal Generator includes a host of modulation capabilities, such as: AM, DC-coupled, low distortion wideband-FM, PM, FSK and PSK, frequency chirp, and fast pulse modulation with internal pulse train generator. Three internal modulations sources are available, and all modulation modes of the Model 845 can be combined. This allows the creation of complex modulation signals for modern communication and location system needs. E.g. simulating Doppler effects or chirp signals. Combining FM and AM modulation can be used to investigate fading effects of FM receivers. Combining modulation methods provides the types of signal occurring in pulse radar applications with rotating antennae.

    The Model 845-26-LO is ideally suited for applications where a high-quality CW microwave source with analog modulation is required. The Model 845-26-LO operates with an ultra-stable temperature compensated 100 MHz reference (OCXO) and can be phase-locked to any external reference from 1 to 250 MHz.   It can operate on line or battery power, making it useful for field applications or large laboratories.  LabView drivers are also available.

    The Model 845-26-LO is available in versions with a maximum output frequency of 20 and 26.5 GHz. The Model 845-26-LO can also be customized and configured to suit specific needs. Options include: HP (high output power), LO (CW only, no modulation - only available on 20 GHz & 26.5 GHz), & R (1U rack mountable configuration).

    The Model 845-26-LO is equivalent to the AnaPico Apsin20G-HP.
