The CT1721C-SL has a monochrome, backlit reflective display. This provides excellent visibility in high brightness conditions, even direct sunlight. The backlight also provides crisp visibility in dark environments.

We recommend the CT1721C-SL for installations that may be exposed to outdoor light, and the CT1721C for indoor-only applications.
