Data Recording for Quality Assurance, Environment Check, Traffic Management, etc.
Datalogger of the DL7000 family for industrial and mobile usage.
Easy programmability, fast running code and a robust, highly stable multitasking system lead to shortest development times.
Using FLASH technology, the datalogger can be updated in-field at any time and can store data, parameter sets and settings permanently in FLASH. For recording large amounts of data additional external FLASH cards are available.
Datalogger of the DL7000 family for industrial and mobile usage in:
- Quality assurance
- Security applications
- Process optimization
- Datalogging in vehicle fleets
- Environmental technology, ... etc.
The DL7000 unites compact dimensions with low costs and powerful specifications like:
- 16 analog inputs
- Individually settable input ranges: 0...5V, 0...10V, ±5V, ±10V as well as 0...20 mA
- SmartMedia Interface as mass storage for data up to 128 Mbytes on chip card
- Individually programmable
- 6 digital I/Os
- Up to 2.5 Mbytes system memory: FLASH and SRAM for program and buffer
- Battery buffered realtime clock
- Graphic-LCD interface
- Keyboard interface
- RS232 and RS485 interface
The DL7000 is a universal programmable datalogging system, which can be optimal adjusted to the specific requirements of the particular application. For this there is a powerful multitasking system that produces fast running code and highly stable results.
Programming is done on the PC in an easy understandable process BASIC language. For this you have an integrated development environment with editor, compiler, downloader and source level debugger. By using FLASH technology the datalogger can be anytime updated in-field and can store data, parameter sets and settings permanently in FLASH. For recording large amounts of data there is a SmartMedia interface for removable, commercial FLASH cards with memory capacities of up to 128 Mbytes available.
SmartMedia FLASH cards can be used in different ways:
- Plain text data recordings in usual file system (FAT16), practically readable on all computer systems
- Secured data recordings which are protected against unpermitted viewing
- Recordings in Random Access Mode for shortest access times and protection against unwanted reading.
In quality assurance systems the SmartMedia data carrier can be used as an endless ring buffer, which e.g. registers all relevant data of the last 90 working days and automatically overwrites older recordings. Only in case of failures the appropriate data is taken over for further analysis.
