    Teledyne LeCroy’s HDO4104A-MS is a 4-analog-channel/16-digital-channel 1GHz high-resolution oscilloscope with an amazing 12-bit ADC resolution (up to 15 bit with enhanced resolution) and 2.5GSa/s sample rate (and up to 10 GSa/s in the “enhanced sample rate” mode.  The 16 digital channels allow byte-wide data decoding, complex triggering, and debug.  This high-definition scope offers an impressive 450ps (typical) rise-time. It’s large 12Mpt waveform memory (up to 50 Mpts/Channel) and easy-use MAUI OneTouch user interface, make it a test or design engineer’s perfect tool!  Exceptional Serial Data and other investigative tools (up to 23 serial standard protocols) are available for advanced tasks.  With a faster processor than before, more RAM - plus a solid state drive, this scope has 16 times more resolution than most available oscilloscopes, so you can really see what’s going on to a tiny level.  Very small signal variations are lost with ordinary scopes but not with Teledyne LeCroy’s  HD4096 high definition technology, which quantizes captured signal in 16 times smaller steps than almost every other scope with 8-bit sampling.  Waveforms captured and displayed on HDO oscilloscopes with HD4096 technology are clean and crisp. Signal details often lost in the noise are clearly visible and easy to distinguish. 12-bit sampling enables Teledyne LeCroy’s HDO oscilloscopes to deliver unmatched measurement precision for improved debug and analysis. Quickly examine analog or digital signals for runts, glitches or other anomalies with WaveScan.

    • A 16-bit offset DAC permits ±10 V offset at 20 mV/div, ±4 V at 5 mV/div, and an amazing ±1.6 V offset at the highest sensitivity (1 mV/div). Such large applied offsets (combined with 12 bits) make it easy to acquire and view small signal variations (e.g. ripple, noise, transient interference) on DC or sensor signals. They also provide extended offset ranges for many of Teledyne LeCroy’s high voltage probes.

    The HDO4104A-MS lets you rapidly perform digital timing measurements on digital signals and analyze with trends, statistics and histograms.

    Applications in the electronics test include: circuit analysis, line-power harmonics, power conversion devices; data storage device testing; measuring faults along cable connectors, transmission cables; aviation; radio and wireless design, etc.
