THIS MODEL DOES NOT WORK WITH PICO AUTOMOTIVE SOFTWARE!
Put a bench-top oscilloscope in your toolkit!
The PicoScope 2204A-D2 [PP917] (version supplied without probes) is a PC-based oscilloscope alternative to large benchtop instruments. When attached to a laptop PC, this gives you a 10 MHz, 100MS/s instrument that even includes a sophisticated AWG signal generator! Ideal for engineers’ traveling toolkits, they also work well in educational settings, or for test, fault finding, and repair. Comprehensive PicoScope 6 control software is supplied free and offers such high-end features as serial decoding and mask limit testing - included as standard at no extra charge. They are not an expensive option like some other manufacturers. And upgrades with new functionality is regularly available from the free upgrades. Their USB connection makes printing, copying, saving, and emailing data from the field fast and easy. The high-speed USB2.0 interface gives fast data transfer, while USB powering removes the need to carry around a bulky external power supply.
The PicoScope 2204A’s built-in arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) means that waveforms can be imported either from the oscilloscope, or from external data files, or created and modified using the built-in graphical AWG editor. Standard waveforms like sine, square, triangle, DC level are instantly available. Advanced options allow you to sweep over a range of frequencies to create a powerful tool for testing amplifier and filter responses.
As well as the standard range of triggers found on most oscilloscopes, the PicoScope 2200A Series offers one of the best selections of advanced triggers available. These include pulse width, windowed and dropout triggers to help you find and capture your signal quickly. Most digital oscilloscopes still use an analog trigger architecture based on comparators. This can cause time and amplitude errors that cannot always be calibrated out.
