MCD Switchable USB-Hub 3.0 8-Port

    MCD Switchable USB-Hub 3.0 8-Port

    Manufacturer: MCD Electronik

    Price: $0.00

    • Description
    • Features

The MCD-USB-HUB-8 Switchable 8-Port USB 3.0 Hub allows eight ports including their power supply connections to be activated or deactivated by solid state switches - individually and independently of each other under software control command. The ports can also conveniently be manually switched using front-panel push-button controls. A useful feature of the MCD-USB-HUB-8 Switchable 8-Port USB 3.0 Hub is the provision of relay-switchable power outputs for each port, which can connect with an external power supply of up to 30 VDC. The relay channels can also be used for other independent switching needs.

The optional USB-Hub Toolmonitor GUI software can send USB commands to control the individual connections via a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 host connection.  COM/DCOM or .Net-Assembly is used as an interface, and this allows the Toolmonitor software to be integrated in many test applications (Microsoft Visual Studio® (C#, C++, Visual Basic), Microsoft Office® (e.g. Excel®), Open Office®, LabView®, MCD TestManager CE), and Linux operating systems.

Each USB port can be used as standard port (SDP), load-in line (CDP), or as a charger connection (DCP) which can supply the connected device with up to 1.5A.  The configuration of active/not-active ports after hub-power switch-on can be stored in the built-in non-volatile memory (e. g. for instant access to keyboard/mouse).  Additional MCD-USB-HUB-8 hubs may installed in a single PC controller for increased capabilities.
