Saelig Company Inc. is a stocking distributor of goods manufactured by companies on our approved supplier list. Most stock is maintained in our New York facility; other goods are shipped from our overseas suppliers upon ordering. Saelig Company Inc. maintains its quality system in order to meet its own internally-generated quality objectives. These objectives have been established by its Quality Systems Manager, who has the ability to empower all employees within the organization to work within established quality guidelines to attain these goals.
Although we are not ISO9001:2000 registered, our procedures are aimed at fulfilling those requirements, without undergoing formal external inspection procedures. Many of our suppliers are already ISO9001 registered (see individual supplier websites).
The organization of Saelig Company Inc. defines the quality oversight and audit function provided by the Quality Systems Manager.
