Rigol’s MSO5000-E 150MHz Digital Oscilloscope is a high-performance scope designed using Rigol’s unique UltraVision II technology. The core of RIGOL’s UltraVision II architecture is its Phoenix chip-set. Two custom ASICs provide analog front end and signal processing performance. These chips are surrounded by a high performance hardware design, including Xilinx Zync-7000 SoC, Dual Core ARM-9 Processors, a Linux +Qt Operating System, High Speed DDR System Memory, and QDRII display memory.
With a 9-inch capacitive multitouch screen, the MSO5000-E integrates seven independent instruments into one case, delivering a maximum 4GSa/s sample rate, 50Mpts of memory depth, a remarkable 500,000 wfms/s waveform capture rate, and a host of other valuable features. The MSO5000-E’s compact, portable design includes the ability to add 16 digital channels for logic analysis.
The MSO5000-E is an economical 150MHz member of the MSO5000 series, and is not upgradable to higher bandwidths or additional channels, unlike others in the series. However, it integrates multiple instrument functions in one package, ensuring that a variety of different user bases will be adequately served. This helps users to save budget funds while still enjoying a superior test and user experience.
