breezeSONIC� Anemometer (101S)

breezeSONIC™, made by Etesian Technologies, is the world’s first self-powered alarm anemometer.  It’s powered by an internal self-contained generator, so the unit never needs batteries or wires.  If the wind is blowing and exceeds the alarm setting, a piercing 3.6kHz 90dB audible alarm warns of unsafe wind conditions. The internal generator provides all necessary power.  There is no on/off switch.  There is never a dead battery to replace.

breezeSONIC is designed specifically for use on aerial lift work platforms and other wind-sensitive structures to reduce the risk of accidents, property damage, and personal injury.  breezeSONIC’s weatherproof construction features a fully-hardened beryllium-copper shaft running in self-lubricating fluoropolymer bearings.  There are no meters to read and operation is hands-free.  The only thing required of the operator is to lower the platform when the alarm sounds.

The alarm setting is customized at the factory to a wind speed below the maximum wind rating for the user’s equipment.  An optional mounting rod with a scaffolding clamp is available, or the unit can be mounted on any half-inch rod.  The unit comes with a one-year warranty.  Saelig Company, Inc. is the exclusive distributor for breezeSONIC.
