MiView USB Microscope MV600UM2 (2.0MP-600X)

The MiView MV600UM2 USB Industrial Inspection Microscope is an easy-to-use color digital microscope with a USB interface and magnification up to 600X.  It breaks the mold of traditional microscopes by providing an integrated 2.0 MP digital/video camera and adding functions for measurement and image transfer.  It is compact and portable, and fits a wide range of uses for industry, school and home.  Its main purpose is for high magnification examination of surfaces.

Strong advisory:  High magnification has its drawbacks.  Please consider the following.

• High magnification dictates that in most cases it must be used with a stand to be useful (because of “image shake” when handheld)
• 600X means that the viewing area and the depth of field are both very, very small
• Focusing a high magnification unit can be challenging because of the narrow depth of field
• Unless you have an application which really needs the higher magnification offered by this unit, you will probably find one of our lower magnification models more useful
