Faraday Cages - Faraday Enclosures

RF-shielded enclosures, also known as Faraday Cages, are available in many shapes, sizes and materials. They can be like our RF-shielded pouches for small mobile or data devices made of RF-shielded fabric and sized for something as small as a USB stick. Those RF-shielded fabrics are typically woven with silver/copper/nickel/acrylic thread, and are used in many kinds of Faraday Cages such as flight bags and tents. Or they can be like our benchtop-sized, hard-sided RF-shielded Ramsey boxes for EMC pre-compliance testing or forensic examination of mobile devices. Ramsey boxes are made of aluminum or steel, along with other materials that have to be specially modified to make them RF-shielded. Or they can be RF-shielded tents small enough to fit on a tabletop or big enough to secure a meeting room or communications center, or hold a larger vehicle or an aircraft for testing.
