    Saelig 30-day Money-back GuaranteeRigol’s new DSA800E Spectrum Analyzer Series (DSA832E and DSA832E-TG) covers a frequency range from 9 kHz to 3.2 GHz, sets a new level of price/performance with its compact size and light weight.  The DSA832E-TG version includes a built-in tracking generator for doing frequency response measurements.  The DSA832E-TG features all-digital IF technology so you can measure even smaller signals than previously. The IF filter enables smaller bandwidth settings (10Hz minimum resolution bandwidth) which greatly reduces the displayed average noise level (DANL -148 dBm typical). Equipment connectivity includes LAN (LXI), USB Host & Device, with a GPIB interface available as an option.  The 8”widescreen LCD and straightforward operation has resulted in a very useful and affordable tool for RF designers. Ideal for benchtop or field-based use, it is ideal for use in a wide range of RF, wireless test, and production situations. 

    The digital IF design means high precision amplitude readings, and virtually eliminates errors generated by filter switching, reference level uncertainty, scale distortion, as well as errors produced when switching between logarithmic and linear amplitude display with traditional analog IF designs. And compared with traditional analog designs, the digital IF design greatly reduces the hardware complexity, system instability caused by channel ageing, and the temperature sensitivity that can contribute to failure.

    The DSA832E-TG includes useful standard capabilities which include AM/FM demodulation.  When product compliance testing is planned, first check your design with the DSA832E-TG and some near-field probes. This will pay for itself quickly by avoiding a failed trip to the compliance lab!
