Fairport, NY, USA: Saelig Company, Inc. has introduced the ChargeBox FAST6 - a free-standing mobile device charging station with six lockers including a patented SmartLock key system for security. SmartLock detects that a device is charging before enabling a user to secure the door, minimizing lost keys and maximizing customer experience. The user can retrieve their device at any time using their key, regardless of a power-cut or system malfunction.
The sturdy (71” x 23” x 17”; 185lb) ChargeBox FAST6 is easy to install, just requiring a 110V socket within three feet of the unit. It can charge concurrently up to six mobile devices, including cellphones, tablets, and laptop PCs. It uses the latest USB 3.1 power delivery scheme with up to 3A power at 5V, 9V, 15V and 20V supporting up to 60W per cable and 12 USB 3.1 PD ultra-robust cables for Apple Lightning and USB-C. Its leading-edge Fast Charging power option is capable of charging the latest iPhones to 50% in just 30 minutes, safely within industry standards. To ensure universal compatibility in each locker, ultra-robust, MicroUSB cables are also fitted to charge other devices using USB 2.0 charging up to 7.5W per cable.
A 7” touch LCD provides a multi-language context sensitive user experience, while a 19” color LCD at the top of the unit can feature advertising or other promotional or instructional videos at 720p HD.
