Innovative “Super Phosphor” Oscilloscopes From Saelig
Fast refresh rate, advanced triggering, deep memory make this new scope series a step ahead of the crowd

Fairport, NY, USA:  Saelig Company, Inc. (www.saelig.com) has introduced a new line of Siglent SDS2000X Series Digital Oscilloscopes with Super Phosphor technology in bandwidths of 70MHz, 100MHz, 200MHz, and 300MHz. With real-time sampling rates up to 2 GSa/s, these new scopes feature waveform capture rates of up to 140,000wfms/s, record length up to 70Mpoints, and a 256-level color and intensity grading display. Together, these technologies have been collectively dubbed by the manufacturer as “SPO” (Super Phosphor Oscilloscope) technology. The low noise design supports 1-mv/div to 10-V/div voltage settings, with most of the common adjustments accessible with single-button control.

The family of SDS2000X Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes includes an array of measurement and math capabilities (FFT, integral, differential, square root) with options for a built-in 25-MHz arbitrary waveform generator, 16 digital channels (MSO), and serial decoding. All scopes include Siglent’s clear and sharp 8-inch 800 x 480 TFT-LCD, and they support auto detection of 10X probes. I/O interfaces include USB Host, USB Device, LAN, Pass/Fail, Trigger Out, and GPIB (optional). The History function can record up to 80,000 frames of waveforms, easily accessible from the control panel.

The SDS2000X series is available in two- or four-channel models and supports extensive serial bus triggering and decoding functions (IIC, SPI, UART / RS232, CAN, LIN) and advanced hardware-based low-jitter triggering capabilities (Window, Runt, Interval, DropOut, Pattern, and HDTV video triggering). Precisely set trigger delay and configurable trigger noise suppression add to the 2000 Series signal acquisition functionality. Traditional digital storage oscilloscopes use analog trigger technology, but Siglent’s 2000X Series oscilloscopes implement a digital trigger system using a digital comparator and digital time-to-digital converter. This overcomes the shortcomings of analog trigger circuits completely and provides high trigger sensitivity and low trigger jitter.

Thirty-two automatic measurement and statistical functions are provided to support testing or high-speed Pass/Fail functions. Also included are a variety of useful interfaces: USB Host, and Device (USBTMC, PictBridge), LAN (VXI-11, LXI-C), Ext Trig, Pass/Fail, Trig Out, and the capability of accepting SCPI remote control commands.

Siglent Series 2000X oscilloscopes are available now from Saelig Company, Inc.
