SENTRY Universal PLCC Adapter (690050)

The SENTRY Universal PLCC adapter is designed to accomodate a range of PLCC packages whilst keeping the exchange of adapters to a minimum. With the use of only one adapter, users can test devices with 20, 28, 32, 44, 52, 68and 84 pins. The positionning of devices is kept consistent and reliable through insert plates. The PLCC device is inserted "live bug" (pins down) into the position over the bed and the top-half of the clamshell is closed for testing operations.

The adapter accepts JEDEC MO-047AA-AH, JEDEC MO-044AA-AB ceramics and also JEDEC MS-016 PLCCs with 32 rectangular leads.

The Universal PLCC adapter is to be placed on two adjacent ZIF sockets on the SENTRY unit, thus leaving a further two ZIF sockets for other component testing. Alternatively, two PLCC adapters can be used simultaneously for a live comparison of two devices.
