Springburo

Germany-based Springburo has, for the last 25 years, specialized in the design of custom power electronics (e.g.  switched-mode power supplies and motor control, incorporating the latest generation wide-band-gap devices such as SiC, GaN). In addition to this consultancy work, Springburo has developed numerous patented technologies for use in the field of transistor testing and evaluation, such as the "Voltage Clipper" which measures directly – and at high resolution - real transistor conduction voltages. This permits the monitoring of power transistor ON-resistances under operating voltages of up to 1500V, as well as measuring thermal performance during real operating conditions.
