Faraday Cages - Faraday Enclosures
|
|
RF-shielded enclosures from Saelig, also known as Faraday Cages, are available in many shapes, sizes and materials. They can be like our RF-shielded pouches for small mobile or data devices made of RF-shielded fabric and sized for something as small as a USB stick. Those RF-shielded fabrics are typically woven with silver/copper/nickel/acrylic thread, and are used in many kinds of Faraday Cages such as flight bags and tents. A Faraday enclosure can be benchtop-sized, hard-sided RF-shielded Ramsey box for EMC pre-compliance testing or forensic examination of mobile devices, needed when securely gathering evidence. Ramsey boxes are made of aluminum or steel, along with other materials that are specially modified for truly effective RF-shielding purposes. They can be RF-shielded tents small enough to fit on a tabletop, large Faraday cages, or big enough to secure a SCIF meeting room or communications center - sometimes even as big as a larger space for shielding vehicles or aircraft during test procedures.
