Intona USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Isolator (7054)

The Intona 7055 Series USB 2.0/3.0 Isolators which provide galvanic isolation to any USB bus. Compliant to USB 2.0 High-Speed 480Mbps and USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 5Gbps the 7055’s isolation is designed to withstand up to 5kVRMS, as well as advanced ESD protection to 20kV (IEC Air­gap discharge). The 7055 isolators work straight out of the box since no drivers are needed, and communication is transparent to both host and device ("no­hub").  These isolators offer a wide compatibility to most operating systems, embedded systems, and devices.

Previous isolators were limited to Full Speed (12 MBit/s) and Low Speed (1.5 MBit/s) transmission. This product is capable of transmitting USB Hi-Speed (480 MBit/s) while providing full galvanic isolation of both the data and the power lines.

This product is an ideal solution to break ground loops, avoid noise coupling and protect ports from power surges and voltage spikes in applications which require high speed USB transfers. The galvanic isolation barrier withstands potential difference up to 2,500VRMS. There is no capacitive coupling.
