The Model 835-M is a high quality, compact RF signal generator module, providing high spectral purity signals from 9kHz to 3.0GHz with milliHz resolution. It is a low-noise, fast-switching, high-performance analog RF signal generator with very low phase noise and excellent harmonic suppression. The Model 835-M provides signals in a power range from -65 dBm to +10dBm and includes built-in sweep modes and modulation capabilities ideally suited for EMC measurements, including AM/FM/PM and pulse modulation.  It also features a low-drift internal OCXO reference.  Available with battery-power as an option, it offers true portability in a compact, robust enclosure.  It suits a wide range of applications where high-quality analog signals up to 3GHz are needed in a compact, self-contained module, and provides an excellent, cost-effective, small alternative to expensive high-end RF signal generators with a similar RF performance. Control interface choices include USB, LAN, or GPIB (optional) and are compatible with the SCPI 1999 command set for remote control via any host system. Application programming examples for Matlab, Labview, C++, etc. make test implementation straightforward.

This model is equivalent to the Anapico APGEN3000.
