The Model 865-M is a 100 kHz to 43.5 GHz compact frequency synthesizer with settable output power from -10 to +20 dBm, outstanding phase noise performance and signal purity, and ultra-fast switching speed. The 865-M is available in the compact flange-mount enclosure as well as in a 1U 19’’ rack-mountable chassis single- or multi-channel configuration as 865-M-40-X.

The modules have an mHz frequency resolution and use a high-stability internal reference. The internal reference can be phase-locked to a programmable external reference. The modules have USB and LAN interfaces and can be controlled using SCPI 1999 command set. Operated with an external DC supply, they consume less typically than 20 W power.
