Multi-8/USB makes a PC an economical but powerful multi-user and multi-device system by connecting up to eight asynchronous equipments such as various terminals, modems, serial printers and scanners.

TXD and RXD LEDs are included in the product for the displays of data transmission in a remarkable manner. Transmission speed rises up to 920Kbps per each port, with the help of USB 2.0 specifications.

Another remarkable feature is in its specialized design which converts the RI pin (pin 9) of DB-9 cable into a +5V, +12V power supply, providing power to the external devices as needed. This feature can be fully exploited when connecting small peripherals such as the cash register, barcode reader, or receipt printer to the systems like PC POS.
