HT Instruments Line Splitter

The Linesplitter was designed by HT to split active Phase, Neutral and PE conductors on single-phase installations powered by 2- or 3-pole cord cables up to 16A for simplifying current measurement tasks in each conductor.  Now take immediate measurements using current clamps/DMMs which are otherwise impossible without stripping the cable to access individual conductors!  This unit is powered by the 110V line/mains supply via the built-in power plug. The Linesplitter complies with IEC/EN61010-1 standards for electronic equipment. It can be used for current and AC voltage measurements on CAT II 240V earthed/grounded installations with max load currents of 16A.   It contains a standard measurement section and a x10 multiplier section for use with higher range clamp meters, and forms a valuable tool for EMC conducted emission measurements.
