IO-Warrior28 Dongle (IOW28-DG)

CodeMercs USB dongles offer an affordable and easy-to-use solution to quickly and easily gather data from I2C devices. This ready-to-use module can operate using your software or the API provided.  IO-Warrior is a family of generic I/O controllers for USB using operating system drivers, so the installation of additional drivers is unnecessary on most common operating systems.
The USB to I2C dongle IO-Warrior28-DG  is based on the IO-Warrior28 chip and offers a compact and fast solution to talk to sensors, actuators, and other components via the I2C protocol. The I2C master interface operates at 10, 50, 100, 400, or 1000 kBit/s. The actual data rate can reach more than 60,000 bytes/s. Clock stretching handshake and multi-master operation are supported.
The form factor conforms with the maximum size of a USB A plug so it does not block adjacent USB ports.

IOW28-DG consists of the electronics module, the two part-dongle case, and a four wire cable. The cable pinout can be chosen as required for the individual application. 5V and 3.3V power is available in addition to SCL/SDA signals and ground, enabling small external circuits to be powered direct via the dongle.
