KeyWarrior (KW100-LF100)

KeyWarrior100 covers all requirements for a modern keyboard in a single chip. Keyboard, Mouse, generic I/O, and a lot of additional functions are combined in a single chip. This allows to answer the demands for most keyboards with a single solution. 

Driving a LED-Matrix, DAC and PWM outputs, support for LCD modules (HD44780 type), and a I2C master provide extreme flexibility for complex keyboard functions.

Every physical key can generate either any key code, a key code plus one modifier key, a media or appication control, or one of 240 macros.

All of that can be configured via USB.

KeyWarrior100 supports 240 Makros with up to 31 key codes and three different operating modes.

• A static macro acts as if all the key codes are pressed at the same time.
• Typing Macros produce key codes as if a key was pressed briefly. This allows any combination of keys and repeating characters.
• Cell Macros behave similar to the alphanumeric input on an old cell phone or land line phone. At every press of the macro key the last character is overwritten by the next one, unless a programmable timeout has expired.
