Hard-working employees need a partner that suits them. The Scoria M240 is a powerful companion for them. It is a mobile data collection device with a compact design. It fits comfortably in the hand, has a numeric keypad, offers a total of 31 keys and weighs just 250g. Ideal for regular data entry, the keypad also offers a switch to text entry and has navigation keys. This helps you reduce input errors and increase employee productivity.

First-class mobile data capture

Data capture plays an important role in the daily use of the Scoria M240. At the heart of the handheld is a high-end barcode scanner with a standard range for order picking, parcel deliveries, inventory, and more. It ensures fast and reliable capture of all common 1D/2D barcodes in virtually any condition – even damaged or poorly legible. The integrated “Aiming LED” and the optically clearly defined scan field provide additional visual support for efficient scanning. The two conveniently positioned side buttons and a scan button in the center make scanning easy and fast. At the heart of the mobile computer beats Android 11 (optionally with Google services), which is powered by a fast eight-core processor with 4 GB of RAM to keep all work processes running smoothly. The rear 13-megapixel color camera with autofocus and LED flash also allows for damage documentation, etc.

A handheld with seamless connectivity

In terms of looks, the Scoria M240 may be a classic data collection device, but it is still equipped with numerous connectivity options not usually found elsewhere: It’s equipped with a dual 4G LTE module, so it’s perfectly connected on the go. The device also cuts a good figure as a phone because it scores with excellent voice quality and functionality. VoLTE, for example, offers first-class voice quality in mobile networks, while VoWiFi ensures outstanding voice quality via the WLAN network when reception is poor in the warehouse, for example. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac standard) gives users access to fast download and upload connections, and USB-C ensures fast data and charging speeds. The Scoria M240’s other interfaces include Bluetooth 5 for short-range wireless and NFC for short-range communication. In addition, the mobile computer offers a micro SD card slot for micro SDXC cards up to 128 GB and GPS for navigation.

Robust design for tough everyday use

The Scoria M240 handheld is designed specifically for a variety of harsh environments. It is particularly robustly built and can survive the rigors of everyday life in logistics or retail. For example, the mobile computer scores not only with complete dust and water protection in accordance with IP65, but also impresses with drop resistance from a height of up to 1.2 meters – certified in accordance with military standards. It can also withstand operating temperatures of -10° to +55° C without any problems.

Handheld & large battery? - That\'s possible!

Despite the compact casing, you don’t have to do without enduring performance. The replaceable battery of the Scoria M240 offers a capacity of over 17 Wh. Its operating time amounts to up to 12 hours – enough power for a whole shift and even beyond. Charging is done via USB-C or via an optional docking station.
