The Teledyne LeCroy quantumdata 780D HDMI Protocol Analyzer / Generator is a handheld digital video generator and analyzer that enables you to run tests on various digital video devices and network distribution devices on site or in the R&D lab. The 780D instrument provides a 7 inch color touch screen for operation and for viewing status of outgoing and incoming video and audio. The 780D is equipped with HDMI, HDBaseT and component analog. Testing digital interfaces is supported by both an output port and an input port to allow testing of digital video sources, displays, audio devices and distribution devices. Testing hybrid converter devices supporting HDMI and HDBaseT distribution networks is a key application of the 780D as well. Check out the NEW HDBaseT Remote Cable test solution. The 780D is equipped with multiple interface types including HDMI, HDBaseT, and component analog. You can use the 780D as a pattern generator for calibrating your high definition TVs. The 780Ds are equipped with a variety of standard patterns and formats including deep color and HDMI 3D formats. Because the 780D instrument has both HDMI/HDBaseT output and HDMI/HDBaseT input ports, you can test your HDMI/HDBaseT cables and distribution networks with splitters, extenders and switches even when already installed on site using the Frame Compare feature. The 780D can also be equipped with the optional Auxiliary Channel Analyzer (ACA) utility for monitoring the HDMI or HDBaseT DDC (HDCP and EDID) transactions and hot plug events. The ACA option enables you to monitor the DDC either while emulating an HDMI or HDBaseT source and/or sink or passively monitoring the HDMI DDC, hot plug events and CEC messages between an HDMI source and sink. The 780Ds’ portability makes them ideal for your bench and for use in the field. A color touch display makes the 780D easy and convenient to use and when testing a source device you can view the incoming video image and metadata on the built-in LCD. |
