SIGLENT’s SDG6022X Dual-Channel Pulse/Arbitrary Waveform Generators produces test waveforms at up to 200MHz, with a sample rate of 2.4GSa/s and 16-bit vertical resolution - a 80dB dynamic range. The 6000X series is designed using Siglent’s proprietary TrueArb and EasyPulse technologies that solve weaknesses inherent in traditional DDS generator designs when generating waveforms. TrueArb technology generates arbitrary waveforms “point-by-point” to create a very low jitter (< 150ps) output signal from stored memory. EasyPulse technology successfully overcomes jitter weakness in DDS designs and helps to produce precise square/pulse waveforms. Rapid rise and falling edges are enabled with the EasyPulse design, unaffected by frequency setting, extreme duty cycle, or extreme edge and width settings. Benefiting from a 2.4GSa/s and 16-bit sampling system, the SDG6022X generators achieve extremely high time domain and amplitude accuracy, resulting in accurately reconstructed waveforms with low distortion, low noise floor, and excellent SNR.
The SDG6022X is a multi-function device! It can generate Noise, PRBS patterns, and IQ signals (option). These features enable it to provide a multitude of high fidelity, low jitter signals to meet the requirements of complex applications. The 4.3” TFT touch screen display provides fast operation and a clear view of signal settings.
EasyWave software, provided free, is a powerful arbitrary waveform editing software that supports many ways of generating arbitrary waveforms, such as manual drawing, line-drawing, equation-drawing, coordinate-drawing, etc. providing convenient waveform editing capabilities.
The SDG6000X series independent dual generators offers 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms, a high-precision dual-channel Frequency Counter with statistics function and an input range of 0.1Hz to 400MHz. Standard interfaces include USB Host, USB Device, LAN(VXI-11, Socket, Telnet) with optional GPIB. Waveform rise/fall times can be set independently to a minimum of 1ns at any frequency with a minimum adjustment step as small as 100ps. The pulse width can be fine-tuned to the minimum of 3.3ns with an adjustment step as small as 100ps, at any frequency. Maximum output amplitude is 20Vpp.
Generator and complex signals generating capability including modulation, sweep, burst and waveform combination. Plenty of modulation types, such as AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PSK, DSBAM, PWM are supported. The modulation source can be configured as “Internal” or “External”. Modulation sweep modes include “Linear” and “Log”. Burst modes include “N cycle” and “Gated”. Both Sweep and Burst can be triggered by “Internal”, “External” or “Manual” source. IQ signal modulation is an optional extra.
A Waveform Combining function superimposes CH1 and CH2 waveforms internally and provides the combined waveform to a user-selected output, allowing users to easily combine basic waveforms, random noise, modulation signals, sweep signals, burst signals, etc.
