Electron Plus SPA120 Dual Source Picoammeter

Our highly sensitive Dual Source-Picoammeter, the SPA120, is designed for measuring and logging very small currents down to the pA range, making it an ideal instrument for scientific and research applications, including physics, materials science, and electron microscopy.

Full-featured at an affordable price, the SPA120 combines sensitivity, accuracy, and stability to allow users to measure low currents with high precision across two fully isolated and independent channels, each also isolated from the chassis. Both channels are synchronized, enabling precise measurements in X/Y applications, such as photodiode characterization and beam alignment. The SPA120 also doubles as an ultra-high resistance meter, measuring accurately into the teraohm range. Additionally, the two sources can be linked in series to achieve higher bias voltages up to ±80V for enhanced experimental flexibility.

As with all our “headless” products, the SPA connects to a PC via USB and utilizes our complimentary SPA software, enabling users to easily measure, graph, and capture readings with timestamps and measurement stability information for both channels.
