ROCKTAB U210 High Brightness 10.1" Fully Rugged Tablet is a new fully rugged tablet Rocktab U210 with a compact format and numerous functions for all industrial environments. Thanks to its extra-bright display and low weight, the tablet is the ideal companion for on-the-go use. At the same time, it offers industry-leading performance and robustness.

Performance at the highest level and still energy efficient

Choose between the particularly energy-efficient and powerful quad-core processors Celeron N4120 or Pentium N5030 from the leading manufacturer Intel®. Combined with 8 GB of RAM, they deliver performance at the very highest level with a boost frequency of up to 3.1 GHz per core. This makes the Rocktab U210 almost three times as fast as Atom processors usually used for tablets. 128 GB of SSD storage provide enough space and the necessary speed, even for very data-intensive applications. However, 128 GB of storage can quickly be exhausted depending on the intended use. Thanks to the Micro SDXC card slot, you can expand the internal memory by up to 1 TB.

Ready to rock, outside

Equipped with a scratch-resistant 10.1-inch touchscreen display, the Rocktab U210 offers smartphone-like operation and is particularly high-contrast thanks to IPS technology. The excellent, high-resolution display with a brightness of 800 cd/m² is suitable for permanent outdoor use without restrictions. The brightness adjusts automatically via an integrated sensor or can be set via the operating system. The touchscreen is made of reinforced glass and is built so robustly that it exceeds the impact resistance IK06. It is gesture-enabled, highly accurate and suitable for capturing signatures. A matching active digitizer input pen is optionally available. It can also be operated in the rain and with gloves.

Easy to take, hard to break

Robust doesn’t automatically have to be clunky! With its 996 grams and a depth of 15 mm, the particularly compact Rocktab U210 is anything but bulky. It is one of the slimmest devices in its class and is almost on smartphone level. In comparison: The Rocktab L110 is 22 mm deep.

Built for harsh environments

The WEROCK Rocktab U210 was developed especially for harsh environments. The military standard MIL-STD-810G promises absolute robustness in all environments. We even go one step further. Instead of the usual 1.2 m drop height, the Rocktab U210 even survives 1.5 m drop height under difficult conditions. Currently, there is hardly a tablet that can withstand drops from a greater height without being damaged. In addition, it was subjected to a so-called drum test to check the drop resistance in everyday use. In this test, the tablet has to survive 40 consecutive drops from a height of 1 meter.

Water and dust are also absolutely no problem for the Rocktab U210. Thanks to the IP65-protected casing, the tablet is absolutely dust-proof and can also withstand a decent downpour up to jet water, as you would expect from a garden hose. The Rocktab U210 can even be relied on in extreme weather conditions. At ambient temperatures of -10°C to +50°C, the tablet is still 100% operational.

Productivity all day long

Battery life is always a critical factor in field worker productivity. The Rocktab U210 is designed with a replaceable battery and a total battery capacity of 38 Wh. These each allow up to 10 hours of runtime on a single charge. Thanks to hot-swap functionality, the batteries can also be changed while the tablet is running, allowing for unlimited runtime.

Ultra-fast connectivity anytime

With the Rocktab U210, you’re connected to the Internet anywhere, anytime. The WiFi 6 certified WLAN module enables a significant improvement in user experience, supports fast uploads and downloads, and lowest latency. Seamless switching between different access points is possible in a few milliseconds without disconnecting.

The integrated Bluetooth® 5.2 opens up numerous other application scenarios, from connecting barcode scanners and augmented reality applications to vehicle diagnostics or indoor navigation.

The Rocktab U210 also relies on outstanding connectivity outside the company building. The optional high-end, industry-grade 4G LTE connection offers download speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The Rocktab U210’s built-in GPS is the high-end module from leading Swiss manufacturer uBlox. It offers fast positioning with high accuracy and reliability. In addition, a Gigabit LAN interface is already available in the standard configuration.

Wide range of functions

No matter what job you need the Rocktab U210 for, it is ready to cover all your requirements. Designed as a versatile work tool, it offers you numerous modern features. With full HD front camera, 8 megapixel rear camera including flash, full-size Type A USB 3.1 port as well as a modern Type C USB 3.1 port, the Rocktab U210 industrial tablet becomes a true all-rounder.

The optional high-end 2D barcode scanner is not installed on the back as usual, but on the narrow side of the case. The case remains very slim and the scanner doesn’t stick out like in many other models. The scan keys are optimally placed on the back. This means that nothing stands in the way of ergonomic scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes, even in very scan-intensive processes.

On the road, you need a compact, lightweight and yet robust companion. In the office, on the other hand, most people prefer to work at a monitor workstation. Thanks to a docking station with monitor output, you can turn your mobile companion into a full-fledged office workstation.

Security on all levels

With the Rocktab U210, you also do everything right in terms of data security. Because it already has TPM 2.0 out of the box – this is a powerful module against unauthorized access, which searches for traces of intruders during the system boot-up time. At the same time, it acts as a password vault for Windows BitLocker. A Kensington Lock connector enables physical theft protection, e.g. at trade fairs. Optionally, convenient login via Windows Hello compatible front camera is possible.

System freedom

The Rocktab U210 is available with three operating system configurations: choose between Microsoft Windows 10 Professional, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or the modern open-source Linux operating system Ubuntu 20.04.

Equipped for the future, the Rocktab U210 is compatible with the upcoming Windows 11 operating system.
