Every inch and detail of the innovative and rugged Rocktab U212 tablet is designed for maximum employee efficiency. The thinner and lighter, the better. As a particularly compact device, it weighs just 1.4 2kg and is only 22mm deep, making it one of the slimmest devices in its class.

The Rocktab U212 has a capacitive 10-point multi-touch panel. The tablet can be operated with fingers (even with gloves) or the included stylus, which can be stored safely in the device. The Rocktab doesn’t mind if the touchscreen is wet or dirty. As a universal work tool, it offers high performance and all the necessary computing features in a single platform. You get the connectivity and ergonomics you need to switch smoothly between a mobile and desktop computing experience. Using the optional office docking stations, you add a monitor, mouse and keyboard to the tablet and simply continue working in a stationary location. A wide range of convenient carrying and mounting options make it ideal for maximum mobile productivity.

Since the display is the most important component of a tablet, we have installed the best sunlight-readable 11.6″ Full HD display we could take. It offers a brightness of 850 cd/m² and is thus suitable for permanent outdoor use without restrictions. With a particularly high contrast and a viewing angle of 89° from each axis, the display has top features. The applied optical bonding technology seamlessly connects the touchscreen glass with the display. This creates one surface, making the display more robust and easier to read.

The fully rugged U212 tablet is modeled after the size of a DIN A4 sheet of paper and offers exactly the performance you need for mobile work. It’s designed for maximum mobile performance and productivity. Choose between Intel® Core i5 processors for increased performance needs or a Pentium™ N4200 for all the usual standard processes like Office, ERP programs, diagnostics, etc. Up to 1 TB of M.2 SSD storage provides enough space and the necessary speed for even the most data-intensive applications, while the integrated micro SDXC card reader allows for flexible storage expansion.

The Rocktab U212 comes with the powerful security features of Windows 10 and features TPM 2.0 – a powerful module against unauthorized access that scans for traces of intruders during the system boot-up time. At the same time, it acts as a password vault for Windows BitLocker.

Enduring performance for long distances

Battery life is always a critical factor in field worker productivity. The Rocktab U212’s removable 45 Wh battery is designed to be hot-swappable, allowing for potentially unlimited, uninterrupted battery life. If the battery does run out, you can simply swap it on the fly without turning off the tablet or exiting your programs. If the process is particularly power hungry or you can’t swap the battery on the fly, an optional 76 Wh battery is available for up to 14 hours of runtime.
